I started a weblog mainly because I wanted to learn how to design and build one. Then after a while I thought I'd add the ability for multiple authors to post, so I could use it to keep in touch with friends while we were all at university/college.

This site is not powered by Blogger, Movable Type, or any other pre-built blogging system. Its' pages were lovingly handcrafted in ASP (cue hate mail from some die-hard anti-Microsoft fundamentalists), and the content management system is of my own custom design.
