Spent this weekend in Cornwall. Friday night was a good one; Call of the Wild organised a night at Calstock Hall for the last night of the festival.
Calstock Festival is one time and place when you're guaranteed to see people you haven't seen for ages. It's a great setting, especially in the summer, and we sat outside by the river and enjoyed a few pints before going in. It was nice to feel that atmosphere again, having spent so much of my teenage life there...
This weekend was the end of a heatwave, apparently, and I can certainly believe it. Inside the hall it was like a furnace, and then we had to dance! We left at about one, went back to Stu's for a bit more alkeyhol, and then staggered back to my parents' house.
Spent the rest of the weekend riding and playing footy, so again I'm aching like hell and glad to get home for some sleep.
