I'm Still Alive, Honest

Hi all, long time since I posted anything I know... I've been playing Mario Kart Double Dash constantly working a lot.

The weekend was a good one; Friday night a few of us went on a bit of a bender and I ended up getting to bed at 5am. On Saturday we went to Lorenzo's restaurant for Sarah's birthday meal, and I ate FAR too much tapas (mmm, nachos).

The new Mario Kart on Gamecube is fantastic. It's just as annoying as Soul Calibur 2, but not in that totally hopeless 'I can never, ever win' type of way...

I'm going to be giving this site an overhaul in the new year, with a new content management system so y'all can upload your photos, and hopefully getting some more people to post too.

Well, there you go. That's everything from the world of Mark until next weekend, when I visit Mr P in Brighton and see Eddie Izzard.

P.S We've got a fibre-optic christmas tree.

And unsurprisingly its all down to the inexplicable urge to play a new videogame, simply because its new. Its the greatest of all temptations - he who can concentrate on other things when the latest console release is there for the playing is made of stone. GTA3 cost me a month off uni. Bad...

P.S. A fibre-optic tree sounds cool. We have a real tree; believe it or not, its the one from last year - got a potted one, and somehow it survived.
