It was a really good break, topped off by Mr B's New Years party, at which I got very, very drunk and ended up leaving at 6am. Needless to say New Year's Day wasn't pretty...
I hardly touched a computer over the past two weeks (except to play games), so now I'm back at work I feel refreshed and ready to go again.
Incidentally, I've just ordered a new PC; my old one's getting a bit sluggish cause I've had it a good few years now, which is an eternity in technology terms - as if I needed the excuse ![]()
It's still not going to make me produce a new version of this site any faster though...

...if anything, I imagine everything will stop while you tweak the new machine getting it set up *just* how you want it. And then while you try and figure out why it won't save your settings and restarts differently every time.
Anyhoo, it was really good to see everyone on NYE, I had an AWESOME night. Tidying up the next day was a tall order - so many half-finished drinks, the smell of pouring them away was almost too much for my fragile state. Although we ditched the drink, we at least recycled the bottles and cans. There were too many for the boot of the car, so it took the van to get them to the bottle bank in one trip. That's some good drinking.

I woke up fully clothed, covered in mud, in Sarah's parents' spare room - a bit disorientating to say the least
