Freedom Fields

I've been doing quite a bit of photography recently, and the other day I ventured up to the old Freedom Fields maternity hospital in Plymouth to take a few snaps before they finish demolishing it.

It was quite eerie (no less because I was actually born there); these rooms which once saw hundreds of lives being brought into existence are now almost ghostly, and I had a real feeling of apprehension about even getting close enough to the windows to photograph inside.
