Esther, our next-door neighbour, is celebrating her 30th birthday this weekend - you might have met her (and her husband Chris) on New Year's Eve. They're having a big party on Saturday, with a marquee and a few bands (including Robbie's) and dj's (including Ol) and a hog roast and other stuff.
It's an open invitation if you want to come (and you're welcome to stay at ours after). Let's hope the weather holds out.

I'll try and get there - I'm going to a wedding in the day though...
Well, that is if it's still on after the groom's heinous antics at the stag do on Saturday; I shouldn't really post it here though

Well, how was it? Ol said he didn't get back til 5 so must have been pretty rockin'
I ended up at the casino party (after I got over the hangover from going out for a 'quiet pint' with you the night before), which was cool.
Here's a tip though - 3am is not the time to have another Long Island Iced Tea, no matter what you think at the time.

Yeah it was good - I somehow drank even more on Saturday than I did on Friday night. Weirdly though, my hangover on Sunday wasn't as bad as Saturday morning's. They must put something in the beer at the Swingletree (or Swindletree, as our neighbour calls it) that saps your body of water, vitamins, antibodies and any other general goodness. Still, it's good training for my stag-do, so I'm going to try and get up there for 10 pints every night til then.
How did the wedding go? You must have been “in the zone” if you were drinking from then til 3am...

That's some good trainin'
Didn't go to the wedding - long story, most of which I told you on Friday and basically it just all went tits up and I felt really weird about going, so didn't.
So it wasn't an all-dayer - although it felt like it the next morning!
And I lost all my money at poker.
