I went exploring today (had the day off) and ended up at Harford, which is somewhere near Ivybridge; where exactly I'm not quite sure because I drove through about 10 miles of single track roads before I got there...
The weather was really nice so I spent a few hours wandering about on the moors. It was strange though, because there was hardly any wind (and no people) so once I'd walked a couple of miles away from the car it was almost completely silent.

I'm a little concerned about you walking of on the moors on your own. Or have I been watching too many reality programmes, where people get stuck up a mountain?
Anyway I like the photos and thought you might like to have a look at this competition,

Photo 2 might qualify?

Wow, those are some great photographs and what a beautiful day for it! Am quite jealous... instead of marvelling the beauty of the moor I got to look at lamp posts and argue with 'mentally challenged' members of the public! sob.
Suddenly feel like going on a picnic...

As long as you've got a charged-up mobile you're pretty safe on Dartmoor - plus I had a map and compass, and it was a totally clear day so I could see for probably 25-30 miles in each direction (from the top of a tor).
I'm not sure the pic qualifies though - it's pictures of insects in their natural habitat, not pictures of insects being eaten in their natural habitat... maybe I'll go out and see if I can get some more photos today.

Maybe you could start the 'Insect Horror Collection'?!
The reservoirs on Dartmoor often provide nice photo opportunities on nice days like this.

like the photographs i find it very peaceful and calming on the moors. You should really think about putting those photographs in a competition or something.
