It's really, really hot again today, and anything which is normally a little bit annoying, is ten times more annoying due to the fact I'm constantly sweating and sneezing (hay fever).
So here goes: you know how nearly all computer programs now have a Recent Files list? It's usually a menu item or a list of files, which shows all the files you recently worked with so you can open them again quickly. Only it doesn't.
It shows files I used the day before yesterday. Or last week. Or in fact any time during the time I've worked here, but strangely, it doesn't show the ONE I'VE JUST F*****G CLOSED. You don't get much more “Recent” than that, do you?
It's the same with IE's autocomplete. You type part of a URL, and it comes up with a list of what the rest might be, based on your past visits. However, the one you've been working on constantly all day is NEVER there, so you have to type it in again in full. EVERY time. Yet sites I visited once (two years ago), show up without fail…

Might I suggest a can of Magicool? It really works. Only problem is the fragrance - its a bit girly.

I went to Boots but they didn't have any. I think I'll just have to settle for sitting in front of the fridge with the door open...
