Amazon Syndrome

I think I'm suffering from Amazon Syndrome.

This is what I've christened my affliction; the fact that every month I spend loads of money online, simply because it's so easy.

It used to be quite difficult to spend money (no, really)… living in a small Cornish town with hardly any shops, we had to get the bus into Plymouth to actually buy anything.

These days it takes seconds. A hundred pounds spent with the click of a mouse button.

But on the upside, I do have lots of cool books…

Amazon is good, although not as good as mvc.co.uk (plug). And when you realize you can't afford the piles of rubbish you've bought you can sell it right back. I've made about £50 through Amazon, selling junk I never use.

Yeah, making money on Amazon is easy, especially if you are one of those lucky people whose parents are prepared to pay for your books while you're at uni (unlike me). Textbooks will sell very close to their new price - Oriel just sold one for a fiver more than her Dad paid for it 3 years ago.

Anyway, I'm feeling the “Amazon Syndrome” - spent £40 on stuff for my PC this morning. Why do I feel the need to buy more stuff, just so I pay less postage?

Because that way it seems like more of a bargain...

Just spent another 90 quid on one of these babies... from dabs.com this time though.
