So how's the new gaff coming along - added your own personal touches to the place? Whereabouts is it (I understand if you don't want to publish your exact address, for fear of toaster theives)?
Oh yeah, when's the wirefree network going in...?

The new place is right near the Art College, so closer to town (and less of a hill to get home).
It's coming along nicely; need a microwave though. I never realised how much I used the microwave until I didn't have one...

I bet that's such a releif knowing you don't have to walk up North Hill at the end of a night out. And it'll curb the temptation to visit Mr John's too.
Funnily enough, I have just got myself a microwave - I can fully recommend it.
And if you want to see more alternative spellings of Indian fare, you only have to look at a few menus from different places in Rusholme (the famous 'Curry Mile' in Manchester). I've even seen 'Balti' spelt 5 ways…

Yes, it is nice not having to walk all that way. And Mr John's is succeeded by Jake's, an altogether different class of post-drinking eaterie; I only live about 200 yards from it!
A microwave for 40 quid? What's going on? That means I can get one tonight, and spend the rest of my money on bee... I mean sensible stuff for my flat.

Oh that's just great. I go on a diet and you move next to Jake's.
Good memories though. What was that meal called that I use to get there at dinnertimes? Mmm.

Was it a Morning Glory? They do a Cajun prawn melt now which is just ridiculously nice...
Just ordered ADSL again too... I'm not sure I want to see my credit card bill this month.
Ah well, I'll just hope it goes to my old address.
