Family Get Lost On The Family Trail.

From the Exeter rag...

“Police are issuing a warning to walkers after a family had to call for assistance after getting lost in Haldon Woods yesterday evening.

Two adults and two children became lost after going for a walk on the family trail at around 5pm. They were quickly found with the help of the police helicopter.

PC Owen Rockey said: “Locating anyone in such a large area of woodland is extremely difficult and groups should take with them simple items such as torches, whistles and warm clothing.

“Reliance simply on mobile phones is less than adequate as many of these areas have poor or no coverage."”

They should count themselves lucky they didn't attempt the red trail.

Extraordinary, were they actually airlifted to safety?

Mark wasn't born into a family. He was designed and built by Guinness's research and development department in the late 70's in an attempt to discover whether it is possible to continue drinking whilst actually unconscious (it is thought that Project Sleeping Boozy is still active - the potential revenue implications of its success cannot be underestimated). Interesting fact: Mark is still the only person to be legally owned by a brewery.
