It's the most horrible weather ever.

I've got to pitch some logo designs to a client in about 10 minutes, and I can predict exactly how it's going to go:

Me : Here are the designs. I've gone for a simple, clean feel which will scale well and be usable both in colour and monochrome.
Client : (looking at the ideas) Hmm…
Me : Ok, are there any parts you like?
Client : Well, we were hoping it could be more 'modern', you know, like 3D.
Me : (sighing heavily) Alright, but I think that will ruin the design, and make it much harder to read and recognise, potentially damaging your brand…
Client : Well that's what we want. Oh, and also, our web address needs to be inside the logo somewhere.
Me : Fine, what is it?
Client : www.ourcompanyisreallygoodandpleasecometoourwebsiteandbuystuff.com
Me : (slightly taken aback) Could you not have bought a slightly 'snappier' domain? I'm going to have some problems fitting that onto, well, anything.
Client : We don't care. And the whole thing has to be silver.
Me : (with total resignation) But silver doesn't exist on a computer monitor… oh ok, I'll scrap these and come back to you in a few weeks when I've made the designs look crap.

And that's just the way it is. Who said graphic design was glamorous? Well, no-one actually.
