With the onset of the festive season and the inevitable drinking, I am wondering if there has been any discussion of where we could all meet up on Christmas Eve. It is, after all, only a week tomorrow*.
So any suggestions? Are any of the old favourites (The Tamar Inn, The Caradon Inn, The Swingletree, etc) still in the running?
Also, am I right in assuming everyone will be in the Callington area (as opposed to Plymouth)?
Some may think this is a little early to be planning this, but I'm not in the southwest for long (the trip to Australia has put me way behind at school) and I want to make the most of it - that means going out for beers with everyone I've hardly seen (if at all) since this time last year.
(* NB. Correct at time of posting.)

Unfortunatly I'll be in France (When I say 'unfortunatly' I actually mean Woohoo). But it would have been nice to see you and Palmer.
I know it'll be hard without me but have a nice Xmas and a happy new year.
Cheers, Billy.

I think I heard some people say the Tamar, but you know us laid-back Cornish types; it'll get organised 2 minutes before and someone will ring you.
I shall get my organising boots on when I've done my Xmas shopping...

You too Billybean.
Mark, you haven't done your Christmas shopping yet? And you'll probably end up doing it all this weekend? Good God. It's going to be carnage.
I thought I was really clever by doing all mine online. That is until every night for more than a week I got home and found a ticket saying “We tried to deliver your stuff but you were out, but you can pick it up from the depot which is IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE AND WHEN YOU GET HERE WE'LL HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE WHERE YOUR PARCEL IS AND YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT AGES IN A FREEZING COLD ROOM”. /rant.
Next year, I'm ordering my books/CDs/games from amazon one at a time, so the posty can fit them in the letterbox.
Anyway, Christmas Eve: cheers Mark, looking forward to it. Especially now that Robbie has passed his driving test... (I would offer a lift, but with Oriel and Andrew too there wouldn't be room for Sarah).
