We had a call from one of our clients this morning about her email, which wasn't working. After a bit of a look we discovered that although we host her web site, the email is routed through another company, so suggested that she ring them to find out what was going on.
She phoned back later to let us know what had happened.
It turned out that the other company had just decided (for no particular reason) to change all it's customers' passwords, denying them access to their mail servers and web mail.
Then, after doing this, they sent out the new passwords to everyone.
