Oryx and Crake

Having just finished Margaret Attwood's Oryx and Crake, I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good read.

It's basically science fiction, but everything in the book is based on things which have actually been done, which makes it all the more scary…

I'm not going to reveal any of the plot, because I don't think I can without ruining it, so you'll just have to read it, won't you?

sounds good - will add it to my wish list on amazon.

recently finished “Life of Pi” by Yann Martel which i thought was great (thou the 1st chapter was hard work). think it won the man booker prize?!

wickedly original storyline of a boy shipwrecked with a boat load of wild animals. completely different to most other things i've read.

would recommend it if you fancy something different.
