And so here we go - the first issue (see here). Some of my recent purchases:
Alternates between angry, yowling country(ish) rock and tender ballads with the odd cynical lyric thrown in; not quite as good as the newer 'Hello Love' though.
Imagine, if you will, Kate Bush ingesting a significant amount of LSD and mentally reverting to a bizarre medieval childhood - with harpsichords. Lovely.
I have absolutely no idea what is happening on this record, although looking at the title you could probably say I deserved it.
I can't remember exactly what I said to myself the first time I heard album opener '15 Step', but it was something along the lines of 'aaaaaawwwwwwwww yeahhhhh'.
Frantic Canadian pop with some clever song structures; takes a few listens, then suddenly you realise you're singing the songs out loud to yourself while buying some milk, and it's got you.
More soon when I'm not skint...

ha ha ha, just laughed at myself...... Didn't read anything properly and thought you described broken family band... as balls!!!! Realised soon that even you wouldn't describe an albulm as fur and gold!!
I like the sound of that one though!

Excellent idea, if you can't say it in a sentence you're a ponce. M' colleague and co-habitant Stu once told me about a reveiw he read for a Cliff Richard album, it said simply 'In no way good'.

You can't remove the full stop! It needs a break! You are as bad as the kids!
Today, during R.E, a child believed that Mary and Joseph were the first people, and not Adam and Eve!

Carly, there's some debate as to whether Adam and Eve were actually the 'first people'.

Here's a film review for you.
AvPR is not as good as A, As, A3, P or P2 but it is better than AR and AvP.
