Non Event

Did nothing this weekend, which was great. Apart from a bit of a session on Friday night, and a bit of football, I spent the rest eating, drinking and sleeping, which was what I needed after a hard week.

We may have found a house in the midst of all that's been happening, but I'm not sure whether we've got there first or not. Kind of exciting, though.

And that's it really… I'm coming dangerously close to this with this entry.

Nothing like a good weekend of drinking loads and eating good food. Check it out:

Friday night - had a fair few pints of San Miguel, a curry (lamb tikka balti with pilau rice, keema naan and onion bhajis... *drools uncontrollably, homer-style*) then much more to drink at Deluxe, the coolest cocktail bar (its got two original table-top style 'Space Invaders' machines, circa 1978).

Saturday - a fry-up of epic proportions for lunch, and now that AMC Cinemas do free refills I ate my weight in popcorn while watching Identity (which is brilliant, btw).

Sunday - pub lunch at The Metropolitan, an enormous place with superb food. Best place to drink if its sunny - its got loads of tables and even a bar outside. And just round the corner is a deli that sells amazing baked cheesecake.

*finally stops drooling*.

So has that tempted any of you to come to Manchester for a weekend...?

Once we've got moving out of the way I'm THERE...

Seriously though, we'll organise a visit soon. It'd be cool to come up and see you guys in your natural habitat Wink

too right - they should make beer cheaper then we'd be able to afford things like food!
