This morning, I rode my bike from the outskirts of Newton Abbot to our office in the town centre. I just park up in a little estate, pull the bike off its' rack, and leave the car behind.
I'm planning on doing it every day I can from now on, because it cuts out all the traffic queues, I don't have to pay for parking (although that gets paid for me anyway), and it's a way to fit some exercise into an already busy schedule. I also get there quicker and use slightly less fuel.
There are periods in my life where I'm really fit, and then there are periods where I slob out for months on end (usually through the winter), Hopefully riding a few miles every day should level me out a bit.

You're not alone - just been swimming for the first time in ages. I think I pushed it a little - I'm having trouble typing this, my arms are so stiff already. Feels good though, like the pain is a reminder of how good it was to actually do some exercise. *opens another beer* Yep, nothing like a healthy lifestyle.
