Peter Jackson has been overlooked by New Line Cinema to make the Lord Of The Rings prequel, The Hobbit, because of a financial dispute. I don't care how much they pay him, if he doesn't direct it, it will be shit!
Actors will turn it down. All costumes and effects will be done by a different company. Therefor the film won't 'fit' with the original trilogy.
Go here to sign the petition and find out how to boycott New Line. Start by not going to see Tenacious D.
