At the risk of sounding like a real nerd (which I am, but it's been reasonably well hidden until now); ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the world's most beautiful computer.
Mmmmm… anodized aluminium…
I've never owned a Mac, and I must say I'm not really a fan of the Mac OS, but this makes me want one just because of the way it looks, even though:
- They're about a third more expensive than an equivalent PC
- Expanding them costs an arm and a leg, and some of another leg
- The memory management seems to me to be abysmal (running out of memory when only a web browser is open is never good)
Now that's good design.

I recently came to the conclusion that if I'm going to buy something substantial (ie. a computer or a car) then not only does it have to work well but someone has to have taken care with the design. Hense I'm a mac user. And now I want to sell my iMac and get a G5. Cheers.

They are DAMN expensive though. A G4 1.25Ghz costs £1,488.98 from the Apple online store; my PC (which is roughly equivalent in processing power) cost me about 600 quid. And the G4 doesn't even come with a monitor!
