I'd like to be the first (on freethought) to congratulate the sterling effort made by our boys in Australia on Saturday. At last, the Webb Ellis trophy is in the right hemisphere.
Did anyone else watch the match? I saw it in pub in Fallowfield - you could feel the tension in the air. When Wilko's drop goal went over, with 35 seconds left on the clock everyone knew it was over. The crowd, as they say, went wild. Superb. Top drawer.
