Hello Everybody.
We made it. Landed yesterday and spent the afternoon exploring our hotel surroundings. Went to the Top of the Rock(efeller) to take in the views. Found the Toys 'R' Us with massive Lego models and ate pizza. It's 9am now and we are about to set off for Central Park. Speak to you all a little bit later.
Cheers, Billy and Liz.

Central Park was big. My feet are killing me. Went to the MET and saw loads of famous crap. Then we bumped in to the Dalai Lama. Which was nice.

Can't do the photos till I get back and I haven't found the Apple shop yet.
Did Liberty and Ellis Islands today. We used the subway for the first time and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Stu, have you got a machine readable passport. If not then get one as soon as poss, then you don't need a Visa.
Come on Newcastle!

Hello Billybean,
It was a pleasure to have bumped into you the other day in New York. It was nice. I will meditate on making your feet better for you.
My warmest blessings,

Been up the Empire State Building at night. Cheap shopping village full of bargains. Movie sites tour, including the 'Friends' building. The Library (from Ghostbusters). Liberty and Ellis Islands. Tomorrow we're going to watch the Yankee's play baseball. Sweet!

Baseball sucks. Nothing happens. Obnoxious people keep standing up in front of you to go and buy more hotdogs and pales of Coke. And no one seems to watch the game when they actually do anything. Makes you want to watch cricket.

Went shopping today, Dan, you own a shiny new iPod 80GB. Went to the Nintendo shop which had a small museum and some blinged-up DSs, Mark and Neo. Later I'm dragging Liz off to the opening evening of Evil Dead, The Musical. I'll check back tomorrow (a very special day). Cheers.

Evil Dead, The Musical rocks! Violence, blood, bad language, sex, jokes and some catchy songs. What more could you want in a musical?

Happy birthday Billy - I can't think where you'd rather have spent it than in a musical about zombies.

isnt Y sometimes a vowel? or was it part of some ellaborate dream i had?
On Thursday 5 October 2006 at 17:37, Matt said:
I've always thought of it as a semi-vowel.
Anyway, happy (belated) birthday Bill. Sounds like you had a good one.

bill - Have you bought loads of clothes, I heard on the radio today about some wierd sort of duty you have to pay if you go over a certain amount on clothes so it could be worth checking out?
There is no way on this earth that 'y' is a vowel - otherwise it would have had its own tray on countdown
