Murphy's Laws

Somewhat related to my last post (the last place you look, and all that); Murphy's Laws. Here's a couple of good ones:

“The first 90% of a project takes 90% of the time, the last 10% takes the other 90% of the time.”

“If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.”

The last one is my favourite…

have you heard of the 70 - 20 rule?

70% of the work done in 20% of the time and vica versa - though nobody ever knows where the final 10% goes!

“The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle."

I'm currently flat out working on a new site for a client, Matt's in Australia, and everyone else is just really slack...

I'll post again soon though, It's just that when I get free time at the moment, the last thing I want to do is boot up another computer!
