It's been a while... again

Still here, busy as usual and with three clients on the go (that's web design clients you filthy-minded beasts)...

I'm finding it harder and harder to devote time to writing here. I don't know whether I'm actually busier or if it's just that I'm overdosing on the web and don't really feel like it.

The other factor which probably isn't helping is that just about everybody I know has some kind of flu/chest thing and sounds like they've got tuberculosis; working in our office is like visiting a WWII hospital ward. And so, inevitably, I've caught it as well, and am spending my evenings snuffling and aching on the sofa with Sarah (who's also ill).

A typical day for me at the moment:

ad infinitum...

I can't wait for Christmas, when I can finish off all this work, get lots of money and go on a two week bender (puttng on 6 stone in the process without even realising it).

Mmm... Two week bender...
I'm coming down to my folks next weekend (6th/7th) - how about a few beers friday or saturday night? If your immune system is up to it, of course. I think I have “antibiotic immunity” - I've been on penicillin (for a sore tooth) and it seems to be keeping everything else at bay. Treat.
Also, GTA: San Andreas is the Best. Game. Ever. I know I said that about Vice City, but this is different. Once you've played it, I'll be surprised (and disappointed) if you haven't got your own copy by the end of the day. And it doesn't come to PC for another year yet, so you might want a PSTwo aswell - look how teeny it is.

Sounds good - if my stupid body can't get rid of the illness, maybe alcohol can (I'm using my logic and no-one else's here) Smile

GTA looks sweet - didn't realise it was another year till the PC release tho Sad Balls. I'm still caning FIFA 2005 to death though, so at least I'm not stuck for stuff to play...

And yes, I am typing this at 8am on a Sunday... it's either that or lay in 'The Bed of Ill' (as we now call it) hacking up catarrh onto my own face.

"...'The Bed of Ill' (as we now call it) hacking up catarrh onto my own face." Nice. Anyway, I'll give you a call nearer the time to sort out the details.
